As kids grow, they love telling people how old they are, they love asking questions and showing off their interests and fun talents. They are starting to go to school and learn more about the world around them. Kids at this age have an inner curiosity and excitement that is hidden behind their eyes. Taking kids pictures give us an opportunity to capture their growing personality and zest for life.

Birthdays are a great reason to bring your little one to our photo studio. Another year means another opportunity to see how much they have grown and how much they have changed since their last visit. If you ask any three year old how old they are, there’s a good chance they will hold up three excited fingers, ask them what they like about school, they may consider a moment and say recess, every moment of interacting with kids is a chance for showing how special they are.

Your child may be shy, quiet, timid, playful, rambunctious, energetic, or talkative and they may have hobbies like reading, dancing, music, sports, or dressing up; whoever your child is, we want to put that down in the picture book of their lives. With attention to the little details that make up your child and allowing them to be themselves in our photo studio, you can leave with photographs that show 100 percent of who your child is. Creating kids pictures that are unique is our goal for every session.

To create these photographs, we will use a variety of backdrops and props. We will play with black and white photography and lighting to make changes in the mood of the photos. The focus, however, will always be on your child. A simple picture of your child standing or sitting and letting the focus lie on their expressions can sometimes reveal the most genuine photographs. Feel free to bring a change of clothes or any items of your own that will help in bringing out your child’s personality and interests.
